Mar 11, 2025—Oregon’s NIL collective, Division Street, is launching three exclusive Nike Air Max 95/97 sneakers: “Lightning,” “Thunder,” and “Storm,” with proceeds benefiting student athletes. Partnering with GOAT and Flight Club, the sneakers feature Oregon-themed designs, including the iconic “O” logo and Ducks of a Feather branding. The “Lightning” pair drops in Tokyo on March 15, followed by “Thunder” in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa on March 21. The U.S. gets “Storm” on March 22, with a global release on Air Max Day, March 26. This marks another creative NIL initiative funding Oregon athletes through fashion and fan engagement. MORE





Mar 13, 2025—Four-time NBA champion and two-time MVP Stephen Curry is heading back to Davidson College as the Assistant General Manager of Basketball. He’s making history as the first active professional athlete in a major American sport to step into a college administration role. Curry will collaborate with GM Austin Buntz and play a vital part in managing an eight-figure fund dedicated to enhancing Davidson’s basketball program. As a longtime Under Armour partner, he’s broadening his influence in the sports world. A true Davidson legend, Curry propelled the team to the 2008 Elite Eight, was crowned the NCAA’s top scorer in 2009, and had his No. 30 jersey retired in 2022. MORE




Mar 13, 2025—Texas A&M Athletics has signed a 15-year multimedia rights partnership with Playfly Sports to boost revenue and fan engagement. The deal focuses on NIL opportunities, premium hospitality, and strategic partnerships. Playfly will use data-driven marketing and sales strategies to tap into Texas A&M’s massive alumni network and fan base. Athletic Director Trev Alberts sees the partnership as key to modernizing college sports. Playfly’s national and regional teams will drive new sponsorships and events, solidifying Texas A&M’s position as a leader in collegiate athletics.
