Money Moves
Luke Clanton has officially claimed the No. 1 position in both the Golf NIL Top 10 and College Men's Rankings. Finishing T42 at last week's Valspar Championship, the Florida State junior cruised to his 10th made cut in 13 PGA TOUR events. He earned a spot in the field after winning the 2024 Valspar Collegiate Invitational.
With his PGA TOUR card punched and a major Nike endorsement deal in place, Clanton is navigating uncharted territory—prompting curiosity about what's next, who else is joining, and when it will unfold.
Miles Russell continued his dominant streak by clinching his fifth title in five months with a thrilling come-from-behind victory at the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley. With a valuation of $625K, the 16-year-old continues to solidify his reputation as one of the game's most talented junior players, ranking No. 2 in the High School Boys Rankings and seventh overall in the Golf NIL Top 10.
Russell wasn't the only player to take home the coveted gold jacket. Aphrodite Deng dominated the field with a commanding six-shot lead to notch her first win in 2025. The victory solidifies another milestone in her career, as the 14-year-old Canadian now ranks No. 12 in the Golf NIL High School Girls Rankings following five top-10 finishes over the past six months.

This year marked an interesting shift in the Junior Invitational's admission policy, introducing a $25 daily fee and a $90 full-event pass. While specifics about the admission increase haven't been disclosed, Charlie Woods and Kai Trump's participation likely heightened interest in junior golf's most-anticipated tournament. Despite not performing at their best, their presence—and the value their NIL brings—undoubtedly helped pave the way for the additional revenue stream, providing another resource to support the tournament's philanthropic initiatives.
Although it wasn't televised and coverage was limited to local news updates, live scoring, and social media platforms, it still captured massive attention from major golf outlets, national press, and international media.
Welcome to the Boards
Arizona State junior Beth Coulter joins the boards on the Golf NIL College Women's Watchlist. The Ardkeen, Ireland native and 2024 Curtis Cup team member has already captured four top-10 finishes this season, including a recent runner-up at the Clover Cup. Next week, she and teammate Patience Rhodes, also featured on our Women's Watchlist, will make their debut at the Augusta National Women's Amateur.
