'We got our guy': Johnnie-O secures deal with Michael La Sasso

Ole Miss golfer Michael La Sasso has just secured a new NIL deal with sportswear brand Johnnie-O.
Johnnie-O took to Instagram Friday, expressing their excitement with the message, “We got our guy. We’re excited to welcome Michael LaSasso to the Johnnie-O family 🤝 Let’s ride.”
La Sasso, currently 17th in the Golf NIL College Men's rankings and World Amateur No. 17, captured his first individual collegiate title in October 2024 at the Johnnie-O-supported Hamptons Intercollegiate, setting the stage for this new partnership.
The sponsorship not only highlights La Sasso's potential but also reinforces Johnnie-O's commitment to supporting rising stars in the sport.
Johnnie-O emerged as one of the pioneering brands to seize golf's NIL spotlight when amateur Sam Bennett donned their apparel during his standout performance at the 2023 Masters.
Alongside La Sasso, other Johnnie-O amateur ambassadors include Golf NIL High School Boys No. 8 and University of Florida commit Trevor Gutschewski and Golf NIL College Men's Top 75 Scotty Kennon from Wake Forest.
