World No. 1 Lottie Woad announces NIL partnership with Footjoy

February 9, 2025

Lottie Woad, the world’s top female amateur golfer, has signed with golf’s No. 1 footwear brand.

The Florida State junior All-American will sport FootJoy gear through 2025, with her collegiate events being the only exception.

For Woad, the partnership felt right at home. “I wanted to partner with FootJoy because it is a brand I know and trust,” she said, highlighting the importance of comfort during long hours on the course. “I have played in FJ for years through England Golf and other opportunities, so it’s equipment I am very confident in.”

After an impressive 2024, where she claimed the Mark H. McCormack Medal, won the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, and secured a top 10 finish at the AIG Women’s Open at St Andrews, this is the 20-year-old's first major sponsorship partnership announcement since signing with Excel Sports Management last August.

Weeks before the announcement, the English star worked with the FJ team for a custom fitting to determine which shoe would work best for her game.

“It was a great experience to try on all the different models within the FootJoy range, but also being able to hit shots in them has given me the confidence going forward that I am wearing the correct golf shoes," Woad shared with the UK's Golf Business News.

Teaming up with FootJoy marks another significant milestone in her journey that shows no signs of slowing down. Golf consistently provides a stage for emerging talent, and Woad is undeniably establishing her place among the sport's elite.

Woad joins FootJoy’s NIL lineup alongside Auburn sophomores Jackson Koivun and Anna Davis, both No. 3 in the Golf NIL Men’s and Women’s College Rankings, as well as Vanderbilt's Gordon Sargent, Golf NIL Men’s No. 4, and Gianna Clemente, fourth in the Golf NIL High School Girls Rankings.
